Konami have announced that they will be holding the PES World Finals at Dubai this year, it’ll be a 3 day event and will coincide with GAMES13 expo – the largest games expo in the region. Plus there will be some SERIOUS money involved. €10,000 for the winner and €5,000 for the runners up. If you’re involved, we wish you the very best and hope you all have an amazing time out there. KONAMI’s PES 2013 season culminates at GAMES13 in the UAE
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. will host the annual PES World Final competition in Dubai this year, gathering the very best PES 2013 players from around the globe.
The gala event will take place at Dubai’s GAMES13 expo, the Middle East’s largest video game show at the Dubai Convention and Exhibiton Centre, and will see 38 of the best PES 2013 players gathering to compete in the climax to the season. The PES World Final will mark the final event of a three-day event, with a Middle Eastern final preceding the main event. Players from all across Europe, the Americas, Japan and the Middle East will then congregate to determine this year’s best player.
The competition will take the form of an initial group stage played across 10-minute matches. This will then be followed by a series of knock-out matches, thus raising the pressure on the hopeful competitors. The ultimate winner will receive 10,000 Euros, while the runner-up will receive 5,000 Euros and current reigning champion, Pau ‘PaUU24’ Lara from Spain will return to defend his crown.
“The PES World Finals are the culmination of a year’s worth of intense PES 2013 tournaments, and see the very best players gathered to compete for the grand title,” commented Jon Murphy, European PES Team Leader. “The event has grown in stature with each passing year, and we are delighted to be hosting the 2013 event in Dubai – a key area for us as we look to expand the horizons of the PES series. We expect a taut competition and a true showcase of skill. The PES World Final will take place at GAMES13 in Dubai between September 26th-28th 2013.

The entries have been finalised. And at this moment they are no longer accepting new applicants. Keep an eye on this year’s tournament and on pesrankings. You can apply to the PES2014 tournaments when they become available 🙂
